I was asked "What was the hardest thing you had to go through opening up your business"
The criticism; I grew up poor, like my mom never owned a car and sometimes we didn’t eat, poor.
When working towards my first dream, Basketball, I never wanted anyone to know that my family couldn’t afford things.
That worry gave me a complex of what people might say and how they would view me. It affected me in negative ways that kept me from my full potential when I was hooping.
I always used my imagination and saw way more for myself then what was tangible.
So when I started The Rich Barber, I was still broke but I knew if I wanted to be a testimony to others, I had to break my scarcity mindset and become fully persuaded in my own mind.
You see, you go through this inner battle.. What do I believe? What is it that I take for me?
For me, I realized I believed in abundance, mastery, and riches!
But in order to take those things for myself, I had to develop the mindset to manifest them.
And in order to manifest them, I had to let go of what other people thought and said.
Romans 14:5 demands “Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.”
So I thought: The Rich Barber is a state of mind that has this awareness of its inner power. The man who owns The Rich Barber State of Mind is forever moving forward. Constantly creating his life exactly the way he envisions it.
So when I came across this quote, I knew I had to drop it in our new apparel line.
