Monday, I posted a video about barbers and social media. You can watch the video (Click the link below if you haven't already seen it). I got a lot of really good feedback but this one cat said something I want to talk to ya'll about.

He said: " To me it's not about the money its about the craft. I tried social media but I tend to get a lot of f***k boys that wanna look like Cristiano Ronaldo, just not for me. "

First, THATS WASSUP! you gotta love your craft, you gotta love what you do. Believe me, I love barbering too. BUT Its a labor of love and selling myself and my craft through social media doesn't have to be seen as a negative thing. Social media allows me FOR FREE to advertise and show off my labor & I LOVE IT!

Second, about the f***k boys who want Cristiano Haircuts. YES, USE IT! Think about it, you perfect this one haircut that lots of potential clients in your city are looking for.. Because of social media, and your ability to perfect this ONE haircut they now know YOU exist...then you throw a few hashtags on it and BOOM you have one haircut that gained you 50 new followers and 5 new regular clients. Opportunity will come and go.

Don't you forget to win..
